Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth onion and garlic free
  • 1/4 cup cooked chicken breast shredded boneless, skinless, and unseasoned
  • 1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin powder

Method
 

  1. Pour the chicken broth into a small saucepan and warm gently over low heat.
  2. Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the warm broth.
  3. Stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and gently stir until evenly distributed.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the gravy to cool to a safe serving temperature.
  6. Spoon a small amount over your cat’s regular complete and balanced food and serve.
Recipe Notes
  1. For a budget friendly option, use leftover plain cooked chicken from a meal as long as it contains no onion, garlic, salt, butter, sauces, or seasonings.
  2. Always check the broth label carefully. It should contain no onion or garlic and should not be heavily salted.
  3. This gravy is a topper, not a complete cat food. It should be used in moderation alongside your cat's regular nutritionally complete food.
