Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey lean and unseasoned
  • 1 cup brown rice cooked
  • 1 cup carrots cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup green beans cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree plain and unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup water

Method
 

  1. Cook the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium heat until thoroughly cooked. Do not add salt, onion, garlic, or seasonings.
  2. Prepare the rice according to the package directions until tender.
  3. Cook the carrots and green beans until soft and easy for your dog to eat.
  4. Add the cooked turkey, rice, carrots, green beans, and pumpkin puree to a large mixing bowl.
  5. Add the water and gently stir until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool completely before portioning and serving.

  1. Use plain, unseasoned ingredients and avoid onion, garlic, excessive salt, seasoning blends, and cooked bones.
