- Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Mash the banana thoroughly in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the egg, plain Greek yogurt, and xylitol free peanut butter. Stir until smooth.
- Add the whole wheat flour and mix until combined.
- Gradually add the water until you have a thick but spoonable waffle batter. Avoid making the batter too thin.
- Lightly grease the waffle maker if needed.
- Spoon a small amount of batter into the waffle maker, close the lid, and cook until the waffle is firm and lightly golden.
- Carefully remove the waffle and allow it to cool completely before serving.
- Cut the waffle into smaller pieces appropriate for your dog's size.
Recipe Notes
- Use plain, unsweetened yogurt and always check that it does not contain xylitol.
- If using peanut butter, make sure it is xylitol free and does not contain chocolate or added sweeteners.
