Refreshing Frozen Dog Snacks for Hot Weather

These refreshing homemade frozen dog snacks are made with simple dog friendly ingredients and are an easy way to offer your dog a cool treat on warm days.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt unsweetened and xylitol free
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries washed
  • 1/2 cup water

Equipment

  • 1 | Blender For blending the ingredients until smooth.1 | Silicone ice cube tray For shaping the frozen treats.1 | Measuring cup For measuring the ingredients.

Method
 

  1. Wash the blueberries thoroughly and place them in a blender.
  2. Add the plain Greek yogurt and water.
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a silicone ice cube tray or small freezer safe molds.
  5. Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the treats are completely solid.
  6. Remove a treat from the mold and allow it to soften slightly before giving it to your dog.
Recipe Notes
  1. Use plain, unsweetened yogurt without xylitol or other artificial sweeteners. Introduce frozen treats gradually and serve them as an occasional snack rather than a replacement for your dog's regular food.
